TimeDesign51 Ltd was founded by Gail Heavey
Gail qualified as a Microbiologist (PhD & BSc) and having managed two microbiology laboratories within the NHS and the pharmaceutical industry (R&D) moved into various technical, quality and regulatory roles within blue-chip pharmaceutical companies.
Thereafter, Gail studied for an MBA in Supply Chain Management and has since operated within logistics, supply chain management and strategy roles alongside commercial, marketing, regulatory, legal and financial departments within the private (retail, distribution and pharmaceutical companies) and public sector.
Gail therefore brings 20 years of ‘hands-on’ experience in the design, implementation and enhancement of cross-functional processes to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency. A number of analytical and change management principles and methodology have been used including Lean Six Sigma for which Gail is a certified black belt & having specialised in LEAN operations within her MBA (at the LEAN Research Centre, Cardiff, Wales, UK)
Gail has worked with people in over 30 countries on 4 continents and is passionate about releasing the ideas and energy of staff throughout the organisation to develop bespoke, effective, workable and sustainable solutions. She has experience of working within: pharmaceuticals, healthcare, retail, various SME’s and within the public sector.
